Older EV?

For example I think the old leafs use the 3G data connection. Now that the 3G system has been retired no more data collecting!!

At least that is what I understand.

Both are very trustworthy.

What kind? Personally I wouldn't trust any kind with raisin.

I disagree, digitizing is what is saving a lot of the media. You can save hundreds of thousands of hours of videos and many games in a single 20TB drive today. You couldn't do that without digital technology.

Generally when I hear people discussing fiber the big costs is actually running the cables and terminating and splicing the ends, the actual cable itself is relatively inexpensive from my understanding.

But with regard to stealing cable, you really can't do much with a fiber cable on the secondary market besides using it for fiber, and you also would probably need to re-terminate it that can be very costly. Compared to copper or other type of metal cables that can be sold very easily for scrap metal. That can be melted down and made into something else or just reused as cable.

I have an automatic feeder for my kitties. It is based on time, my cats are not impressed by the extra hour they needed to wait.

I am more stressed out about the construction of the building. Looks like a basket weaver decided to lay some bricks.

Looks like he and the corner of the room is being consumed by the blank emptyness.

This is really cool, I have never heard of dual actuator drives before.

I just ordered 6 16TB drives to upgrade my 8 4TB drives.

My server doesn't have any more room for expansion.

My Question is what is the best way to replace the 8 4TB drive with the new 6 16TB drives?

I was thinking of setting up a secondary server put the 6 16TB drives in that and copy the data over. Then just remove the 8 4TB pool and swap the drives around then add the 6 6TB pool.

However I am guessing this method might screw up my shares and settings I have on the existing pool.

Any ideas? Thanks

How do you handle Proxmox clusters when you only have 1 or 2 servers?

I technically have 3 servers but I keep one offline because I don't need it 24/7 most point wasting power on a server I don't need.

I believe I read somewhere that you can force Proxmox it to a lower number but it isn't recommended. Has anyone done this and if so have you run into any issues with this?

My main issue is I want my VM to start no matter what. For example I had a power outage. When the servers came back online instead of starting they waited for the quorum number to reach 3. (it will never reach 3 because the third server wasn't turn on.) so they just waited forever until I got home and ran
