I think we are in agreement! Very true that Twitter was getting free advertising. But if “X” is still relevant, I guess the news will just give that free branding? Already the rebranding has caused a lot of conversation, which is also free advertising, to an extent?
Tiffany was legendary for the brief moment she was around (left).
Kids don’t know what is interesting until they encounter it. I didn’t know Calculus was awesome until I was in a place to understand it, for instance. School opened my eyes to many interesting things that I would have had no clue about otherwise.
Smartphones are a major problem in schools. They are highly addictive and distract students to a high degree. I get this perspective, but the reality is that Reddit has a lot of users that don’t care. Similarly, millions of people signed up for Meta’s Threads forking over a shitload of privacy. The majority of people aren’t educated enough to know or care about the issues at hand. So rather than us trying to fight a behemoth, we have to work alongside it to siphon off its community one member at a time.

The Cochrane review’s approach is far more comprehensive and goes into considerably more depth in many more studies.
So, maybe you didn’t read the articles? Or maybe you don’t understand population level, public health study methods.
