That’s exactly what it was. But the sheer odds of them settling on my house the same day as I worked a game a fair distance away at a park that happened to be in their path to their new home? Pretty fucking high.
No more untucking! I don’t want to worry about showing off my gut every time I raise my arms.
I don’t think our points are mutually exclusive. Small sites can be shitty while the trend remains that sites get shittier as they get bigger.
What exactly does acceptance look like to you? He was offered a contract, gave it a thumbs up, and delivered the goods for the price specified in the contract. It would be ridiculous NOT to treat that as accepting the contract.
If a person is challenging the opinion of a marginalized person, I could see this being a reasonable response. This person is pretty clearly attempting to overcome their biases. Telling them to do their own research, instead of pointing them in a direction, is asking for them to find the “wrong” person’s opinion and take it to heart. It’s a missed opportunity for dialogue, and contributes nothing.
The one that’s still clearly visible and gives no indication of having been deleted? You’re welcome. If you have the option not to call police, great. They should not be the first call. Some areas and people don’t have a choice, and the idea that they’re as good as murdering their loved ones for calling police is ridiculous and mean.
Police deal with thousands of mental health crises every day without issue, but sure, go ahead and try dealing with the violently mentally ill person yourself.
Because a user base has yet to demonstrate that there will be significant consequences for such actions. Maybe there will be, but they will be less-tangible long-term consequences that can’t easily be attributed to these actions.
Searched for the URL, still not showing up. Could it be a limitation of the instance I’m on?
So fucking dumb. And all the SPS who never wanted to be Mounties will likely get hired by municipal agencies, severance in hand.
I know the 80/20 rule, and that a big chunk of that 20 uses apps, but I’m not convinced. I thought the same thing about twitter when they killed off third party apps, and I ended up being the only one in my circle who moved to mastodon.
You’re suddenly a superstar athlete making tens of millions of dollars. I think we have to disqualify you from the game on those grounds.
