A switch will recognize a PoE device and push the full 15.4w by default. Then the device has the abi6to communicate back to the switch to specify how much power is actually needed.

Hmm, I've had great luck with my brother MFC, but I bought it new. The sample toner that came with it lasted 3 years and changing it out is super easy...

I have Kuma setup on one of my VPS' and one endpoint I monitor is on healthchecks.io.

This way Kuma can monitor whatever I need and if HC doesn't get a "ping" every 5 minutes I get an alert from them. They have a free teir for 20 checks I believe it is.
