I just expect a popup in the game which says something like "Could not connect to server, some multiplayer features will be unavailable. Continue offline?"

I feel the idea was that anyone should be able to make a webpage by just copy pasting snippits and to help with that html and Javascript will attempt to continue as best as it can, even if there are glaring issues.

Thats one of te reasons I only played instagib. I have tons of hours in Q3 but half of it was in defrag, 49% in instagib and the rest in the normal modes.

Atompunk is like a specific esthetic. Imagine cold war era, but with the what they thought looked futuristic made real. Think themes around nuclear annihilation, global espionage, alternate-history and retrofuturism.
