Depends on the trip. Part of the joy of arriving is the journey you just endured, so might be worth keeping that in just for the existential exhale you get when you arrive.

I have a lot of unhoused neighbors so I regularly leave out fresh socks, a pair of gloves here and there, basic toiletries, and food for their pets. If one came to my door I'd be happy to try giving a haircut, but no refunds.

I have a theory that most people's favorite food is actually onion. We like them sweet, spicy, pickled, and in breakfast omelettes, lunch sandwiches, and alongside dinner proteins. There isn't much that isn't improved or at least complemented by an onion.

My wife turned her happy birthday sign into a happy father's day sign in the simplest, cutest way. I loved it.

One of my all time favorites. Glad you're enjoying!

"Beryl? Even our Hurricanes are gender non-binary now."

That's what he said in response to the National Hurricane Center posting the latest satellite image of the storm.

It's not nonsense. It's a sustained attack on both people and science. This kind of message brings the science deniers and bigots closer together, helping to shore up that base and give it common ground.

Often scammers don't want to make it less obvious. If it's obvious and the mark falls for it, it's a good indicator they're on the hook and will fall for more. It's to filter out the less gullible so the scammer doesn't waste their time. Probably not the case with this situation specifically, but it holds true in general with scams.

Bad title, if the article is accurate. What's happening is they are trying to repeal an exemption made in 2020 to existing anti-mask laws that were instituted to curtail secret societies and the KKK.

It does not appear that masking for health reasons was prosecuted before the exemption was made for covid. Would it be prosecuted now though is the question.
