I’m no expert on this, but that reads like a one sided take on the issue-which is more political than financial, with many asset seizures in response to US embargo’s, condemned by UN, rather than the other way round

It’s not ‘inconvenience at best’. The vast majority of people won’t use a VPN, so it will be a loss of revenue. Even if you are willing to pay for a VPN (or daft enough to use a free one), it’s an inconvenience as using a VPN can have side effects, such as other things getting blocked unexpectedly, or cause websites to redirect you to the local version in the country of your VPN server.

How does that work? I thought these shells need to be fired before they are armed. If not, handling them seems very dangerous

Or how to pronounce it.

In addition to ordering directly from china not avoiding the tariffs: it may not even be possible. Some (smaller) companies simply won’t ship to USA anymore due to the hassle of having to deal with the admin.

Blocking the user is my preferred option

Why is the last few lines of these bot summaries always unrelated to the actual article? Fix that bot or use better news sources

It’s a warning, with the aim of getting them to comply with EU rules. Not a punishment to put them out of business. But repeat offenders can get repeat fines, up to 10% of global revenue (not profits) which is not a cost of business most companies can ignore.

Upvote for your efforts to share facts, but I really don’t need that many words to convince me that Trump is talking shit, again.

They really need to stop this shit of handing out peerages

Actually no, I haven’t seen any media coverage of protests in the US.

Just looking at this post as an example, on lemmy.world show it has 29 comments, but when i open it, there are now only 3 or 4. I replied to one comment, the user i replied to got banned, and the whole comment tree is gone from lemmy.world. Other instances still show all comments, including those from the banned user and my reply. I think it’s very confusing when a single post appears with different comments on different instances, and have no idea how this works.

Edit: why am i forced to upload a photo for a new post?

When sorting by hot, I get posts with 1 upvote and no comments near the top. And it is above a post from the same community (nieuws) that has 2 upvotes. Seems to be broken.

My first anduril light, and first small light. Really happy with it. Thanks to you wonderful people, and the ones we left behind on Reddit, I ditched the cheap supermarket zoomies and got my first decent light from Zak’s list, a wowtac a2s. Good recommendation, great light but angled lights aren’t my favourite. Next one was an fc11. Also from zak’s list and another solid recommendation. Love it, just wish it had better runtime and lower moonlight. I use it mainly for dog walking in woods and fields, and it is good for that purpose. This TS10 fixes my moonlight issue for indoor use and is easily bright enough on full to be my backup if the FC11 ever fails me while out.
