@essell
Some shoes have leather in them, in the past it was almost universal that shoes would be made of leather, but with the advent of modern plastics and rubbers most shoes these days aren't made of leather anymore, since leather is more expensive.

Side note, in the past shoes were much more repairable and there were actually people known as cobblers who would make and, get this, repair shoes. Nowadays many modern shoes, especially sneakers, are built in a way that makes them significantly less if not completely unrepairable, which really sucks. We should be able to repair shoes just like in the old days #righttorepair

@LordAmplifier It definitely does. Too bad it isn't. Would probably be an Awesome movie, anime, or game.

@bionicjoey
That's a bit far, I think they should just be educated on proper posting etiquette for forum based Fediverse platforms like Lemmy and Mbin.

@kayzeekayzee Agreed, it's a very nice picture.

I just now noticed that the airships and hot air balloons are food-themed.

@l_b_i I guess it could go both ways, might even be a little bit of both now that I think about it.

Depends if the person was already hoarding wealth before or had the desire to. Generally those who have a desire for wealth tend to hoard gold as dergs, those who don't, well they don't.

They can meet the dragon during working hours, no need to break in.

@Lightfire228
Yeah I'm sure that job is very hard on the skin, even for a derg who has thick, tough scales.

Also I imagine the salt dust can be quite irritating to the eyes as well.

[–] Draconic_NEO@pawb.fun 3 points 1 year ago

@l_b_i
That sounds so dumb and racist (speciesist?) dragons should be allowed to fly anywhere and everywhere we choose. Also I agree, ties do suck. I'm glad my current job doesn't require them.

@Ghostalmedia @deadsuperhero I think the fact that I was able to see and reply to this comment of yours from Mastodon proves this idea false, if you check the Post history of this account you will also find that content posted in Lemmy is visible.

They absolutely do interact, lemmy is way more Mastodon friendly than most people give it credit for, considering the fact that communities/groups, automatically boost every post and comment for visibility.

So people on Lemmy being concerned about poorly moderated or cesspool microblog instances is indeed a valid concern.
