However this all concludes whether it be: the worst case, best case, or mixed case scenario I honestly have to wonder out loud how anyone is expected to take phrases like "rules base international order" and "human rights" seriously ever again going forward?

Like I'm not naive and I know it was always bullshit and the rules have always been whatever we say they are but like...is this really gonna just be a case where everything is memory holled and everyone just tried to act like it wasn't all exposed as a fucking sham for everyone to see?

I'm struggling to be cynical enough to believe it will play out like that...so I worry I am naive.

I could be wrong since I wasn't there...but I have a stinking suspicion that the majority of successful leftist movements in history didn't happen on account of a highly literate populace who all individually read karl marx and decided they needed to do a revolution at the same time.

If a third party candidate and their voters represents a threat to your election bid then here's a wild thought: Maybe you should court that candidate and their supporters, figure out what the key issues are they most care about, and consider adding it to your own platform?

Oh no, silly me: third party candidates are always jokes and illegitimate people not worth giving attention to right up until they become a convenient scape goat for all your own failings.

Lucas did. Spielberg talked him up to 15, but both agreed they wanted her to have been young, "promiscuous", and "she came onto him".

I've often said Lucas is about as close as you can possibly get to being a good billionaire...and that conversation about how they created Marion's character should tell you all you need to know on how far that actually gets you.

Nah, I think that that goes too far. I voted Green and support everyone else's decision to do the same but even when Trump was president and the "resistance" was always largely performative.

Its really sad she and Jamie are so low tier because they are both insanely cool additions to the whole series and I really hope they stick around for a long time.

This. Its all performative but guaranteed they will be unbearably self righteous and smug about not only how much they care but also about how Harris could have brought about a cease fire if the radical left would just be adults. Palestinians are just a fucking prop to them whatever they claim otherwise.

Quite plausibly (by complete accident, but nevertheless) the single most moral thing Trump has ever done in his life was dodge the fucking draft.

Oh yeah, because this fucking administration totally didn't crack down on student led protests or break workers strikes. Shut the fuck up!

They are basically one step removed, at best, from outright saying: "Palestinian lives don't matter." Thank you, I'm happy I voted green earlier this morning.
