The wig is well worth it imo. I'm wearing one while my natural hair grows out. They shouldn't be scratchy if you get a good one, but you also need to learn how to maintain it. I use a wig with synthetic hair and it should last for a while, but I have to be careful around things like ovens in order to not have any damage.

You could try to use fabric softener to really soften up those cheap wigs. They do tangle easily unfortunately

My opinion of the NRA has somewhat improved since they decided to stand with transgender people and protesters. I'm still annoyed that they don't want to contribute anything to shape responsible and effective gun laws though except to say that no control is okay

I really love the roads around here right now. The lane markers are now suggestions. You have five times the stopping distance and accelerating distance. People drive under the speed limit. Everything is frozen

That sort of thing goes on your record though. You don't simply leave the service without the government knowing. They will literally put a warrant out for your arrest

One can't just quit the National guard. There's a contract that holds them for a period of time. Imagine somebody signs a 6-year contract in 2022. I don't think they can be held liable for Trump's actions when it wasn't even clear he was going to actually run again. I signed a 4-year contract as an active duty service member in 2021. I got out in January last year and so I'm thankful for that. But every day or so I have to think about what my colleagues would have to decide. They're not in it to subjugate people. They're in it for a steady career and because they believed in a liberal America and looking to make the world a more stable place. The military is a sword and it really depends on who's using it, whether it's good or bad.

I'm not a huge fan since I have a drunkard in my basement. I haven't had any alcohol since Christmas at my family's house before then. I haven't had any since September. It's really not worth it and going without saves me money

Digging through a meme that I probably found in 2014. I guess I kept it around for a reason Some people aren't really that smart, but they more than make up for it in heart

Where were you when USAID was kil

I was at home eating nacho

I hear my friend

"USAID is kil"

"no"

I gotta post something, so I'll post the mechanical calculator that the flight school wanted me to get. How it works is that you can set ratios in the dial and multiply them. In this picture, it's 60:10 (or 60:1.0) so I can take any number from the inner circle in minutes and find out how many hours that is equal to on the outer circle.

There are also other things on this calculator, including a wind vector calculator, and charts. Most pilots don't use these anymore, but they still wanted me to know how to use one

This bill has just passed the US House of Representatives. Why is this important?

Today, we have Visa and Mastercard as our choice of digital payment. Some have floated crypto as an alternate, but crypto is complicated and not backed by an economy or central bank. Others have floated the idea of a central bank digital currency (CBDC) that matches the availability of Mastercard and Visa, but do not go through their services. It could also be used offline with smart devices.

Some critics have cited concerns over privacy, where the central government could collect information, while others have pointed out that Visa and Mastercard collect that sort of data anyways, and CBDCs might log less data if designed differently.

The point may soon become moot if the bill passes the Senate and receive the president's signature

My take on this bill is that it's a ban that should not be put into place. CBDC can still be issued to banks though, just not for you and me. It keeps Credit card companies able to charge high merchant fees.

If I were to write a bill on CBDC, I would put in privacy restrictions into the bill, but still allow for individual CBDC to be issued.

Rarity is the fashion pony. She'd do just about anything to be more glamorous. Poor Fluttershy gets betrayed
