Not only that, but cooler/freezer space is premium in grocery stores. If the American product isn't selling through, then there will be lots of pressure to replace it with something that sells.

That's super cool!

I see a lot of people parroting this sentiment on reddit. Walmart bad, Costco good. Keep in mind that Costco in the US is removing Canadian products from their stores. I see Americans saying on a daily bases that they would like to support Canadians. Removing Canadian products from their stores is an active strike back at Canadians because there is a demand for those products.

Not nearly as bad as PP. Every time I hear the guy speak, it's like he'd rather be doing something else.

She negotiated the USMCA with Trump in his 1st term.

Too bad for Chrystia Freeland. I think she would have been a great PM. I watched her speak a few times, and she is well-spoken, smart, and has that little edge like she'd really destroy you if you forced her to.

I would have voted for either, though, and I'm happy for Mark Carney. He'll do a great job.

I really hope he doesn't get elected. I have this vision of Mu$k being his 'special advisor ' in parliament. X should be banned Canada wide while the election is running.

I did join fairvote. Why do we resist proportional representation? Seems like a no brainer.

Didn't Rustad's conservatives join with another party to try to win the last election? Is it the 'joiners' that are now falling out again?

I mean, politics aside, if you want to be the leader of a country, why would you not want to have access to all the information that is available? Even if you didn't necessarily act on it.

Lol, I've literally never seen that many downvotes. What a toxic sub though.

They have been talking about tariffs on oranges, Harley Davidson, Jack Daniel's. Tariffs like this specifically target red states putting pressure on the people who voted for Trump. Ontario alone accounts for 45% of all American liquor exports.
