Discord is just a shitty version of Teamspeak with some forum/chat features. Its main success is due to it being free, and pretty much any idiot can use it. That being said, it was never really meant to be anything like Reddit. More of a hub for gaming communities and such. It's handy for my roleplaying groups, videogame stuff, and keeping up with some close friends, but that's about it.
Yeah. The ADHD/depression thing can really make things bad. It's kinda funny though. One day out of nowhere I'll snap out of it, say "Nope", and clean something... next thing you know it's a few hours later and everything's nice. It's just so hard to keep it that way because I feel like I'm just running on autopilot most of the time.
Somebody's girlfriend got fucked by a marine.
Seems incredibly stupid unless there's actual oversight and accountability.
I doubt it, but you never know. The only time I used it was when r/freefolk were watching the last season of GoT live, and boy that final episode was fucking hilarious. There was nothing like watching a bunch of internet strangers come together and collectively lose their shit as our brains broke at the stupidity of the finale.
Vampire Survivors is digital crack hahaha. I watched a friend play it and thought "That looks so stupid." Then I tried it, and wound up sharing it with like five other friends who said the same thing I did, and then also got addicted.
Reddit felt like it was going downhill for a long time. I think I just started scrolling it out of habit, only participating in a few subs for hobbies and games. This shitshow was the kick in the ass I needed to shreddit and delete my account.
Also. I think more users need to do that. Make sure you shreddit your comments and posts so reddit can't keep your content.
One pastime involves racing logs down the river that are being floated down... some of em don't make it. Crazy kids.
