Dune is 2.39:1. Bars on top and bottom. Greater width for greater peripheral immersion.

The director did not make Dune for your TV, they made it for a theater.

  1. Learn why aspect ratios exist
  2. Watch TV shows or Made for TV movies if you want content formatted for your TV
  3. Crop and zoom if you want a sub-par experience if "bigger is better" for you

Next thing you'll want is 120fps movies. Truly, learn why aspect and FPS is important, and you may appreciate them more.

The #MAGA says it all. I feel bad for you, but more so for those around you. You are unable to open your mind to how selfish and unaware of the world around you that you have become. You clearly believe the way you think is in the majority, which it most certainly is not. It's sad. (And yes, I'm American)

Why YSK: New apps are springing up everywhere, and if you're on a tablet, two column views are helpful.

I haven't come across any other app that does this yet, and while the F-droid version doesn't seem to have the two column option right now, I think it'll be added soon, maybe in a few days or so. If you're interested, you can get the alpha from the GitHub: https://github.com/thunder-app/thunder
