My dad, for the most part, is a model of who I would like to be as a person. Sure, he is not infallible, but he genuinely wants better for other people, exhibits an admirable work ethic for his community, and is always attempting to learn more and better himself.

So like... Is no one going to declare war on the rapidly unhinging, crumbling fascist empire that has openly admitted to basically wanting to expand its military and fuck the world? in c/chapotraphouse@hexbear.net

At what point is violence against an oppressive regime’s thugs (re: law enforcement) morally permissible? If peaceful protest becomes impossible, is violent resistance not required?

What’s the enforcement? If Trump ignores the courts, who’s going to stop him if not Congress? Lawless behaviour by POTUS should be met with lawless behaviour by the people.

Luigi Mangione did nothing wrong and we need more people like him. Hopefully, the people of NYC aren’t so stupid as to reelect a traitor/criminal like Adams again. If they do, they deserve to reap exactly what he sows.

I’m a United States citizen and I would rather our economy and people suffer than for the world to buy into the garbage POTUS and his MAGAt cronies are pushing. This nation deserves all the ill will and hurt it has coming to it.
