I trust SUSE, not canonical. So are there more SUSE-like organizations that are not in AmeriKKa that I can check out ??

[–] MITM0@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Yeah but we also NEED & I emphasize NEED to teach the newcomers the way of the Libre/FOSS/LinuxJutsu in the most welcoming way as possible.

Not like those ArchLinux clowns

[–] MITM0@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Yeah that. Especially their ARC-GPUs

There's plenty of wrong with you Wolfie 😂

Ouch, maybe men should be open about their feelings & not give a damn about the shaming language

[–] MITM0@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

That's because Netfilx is basically a media powerhouse & kind of a monopoly.

& your average person doesn't know how to effectively pirate

Ohhhhhh, now I get why my account gets auto-deleted. Does Discord do that too ?

Because it makes sense

[–] MITM0@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Do we have another Redhat alternative other than SUSE, because I don't find canonical to be trustworthy

[–] MITM0@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

& there you have it

I am quite nervous while asking this question, but let's say one wants to create a language.

What materials & tools one could use to get started on this path of madness ??

EDIT: I wanted to create an alternative to Javascript😂 with a syntax similar to Bash

We have this "meritocratic" right wing christian "centrist" relishing in the fact that Debian has gone political & is now struggling because the devs don't want to work for them.

I was wondering if some of nice people could share your opinions on it, especially on his solutions.

MY OPINION:

"Getting political" in these ways is both useful & a good idea. NO ONE & NO organizational body is neutral. Even just in internal day to day interactions, taking clear political policy like this is one step in preventing an environment from degenerating into one that is toxic & bigoted. This doesn't even have to be a right vs left issue. No one in their right minds should want to be racist or homophobic or allow an environment that promotes such a culture.

Also, being an open-source supporter & any level of rightwing is self-contradicting. Private property is the cornerstone of capitalist ideology & free software fundamentally twists information property against itself, turning the freed software into a commons. Left wing is far more meritocratic than right wing.

A MicroNation Community (www.youtube.com)

I'm just asking if there's a Lemmy/Mbin/PieFed community (or any federated community/forum) that's dedicated to MicroNations here ?

(The Youtube link is just for knowledge purposes I was also adviced that this was the appropriate community to post this)

Are there any proper FOSS/Libre City-builders on both Android & desktop ?

(Similar to Sim-City & City-Skylines)

I want your quick opinions on 2 Fundraising infrastructures that I found:

  1. Project-Houdini
  2. FOSSpay

& Do you guys know any more ??

Also please do list out your favorite small-medium gaming channel & why you like them

Ok so I don't know if this protocol has got anything to do with Federation, but it's an interesting protocol regardless

It's used mostly for logistics. I'm interested in your thoughts https://becknprotocol.io/

Introducing IBIS-Wiki

A federated encyclopedia which uses the ActivityPub protocol, just like Mastodon or Lemmy. https://ibis.wiki/

Ok so I am currently using FLTK-rs for GUI design so if there's an fellow rustacean I would like your input.

Am I making any progress in this project I have undertaken (I advise you navigate to the Files section/tab). I need some feedback

I am using FLUID to build the GUI & basically I wish to recreate LBRY-Desktop. Please do note that, I come from a non-programming background.

I was hoping if I could get some help regarding Iced.rs (& maybe even advice on GUI-dev in general) since the documentation/book is a Work-In-Progress
