I think the massive upswing in quality across the Premier League makes any trophy look a bit more desirable nowadays too honestly, makes for better viewing as a neutral at least
Oh for sure and it really shows the class of the players who do break through! I'd be interested to know whether it was the club or the player who wanted the move though and I do get a bit sad when academy players leave, remnants of the wenger days where we got to see them more in the Carling Cup I guess.
I always want to see City drop points but that was never a foul on Alisson, goalkeepers get too much protection
I assume that after Arteta called them all out, they are too chickenshit to appoint a VAR ref
I don't understand why we have a 2nd goalie on the bench in Hein instead of one of the outfield academy players
I don't think any of us could have predicted that though to be honest, for all Jorginho's faults, composure and passing aren't generally where he's exposed
We have been really bad in this second half, lost control over the game
Things you love to see, let's foggin go bois
VAR actually doing something for us, I'm actually shocked! Needs to be a wake up call for us, we haven't been good enough in attack
I don't think we've seen the Sake-White connection down the right at all this game, he's got off kinda easy so far
Protecting Zinchenko right I guess? First start since injury, if he's off on international duty too they won't have the same considerations
Oh without a doubt and I want him to hit that potential anywhere if there isn't a place for him here but I'm convinced he can do a job for us.
