Ha yeah, that was my first thought. This is the quintessential sample image for seam carving.

These are great. That Limoncello looks like it's gonna give me cancer if I drink it, though lol.

OP literally said they're gonna stop using it, "now that they've been made aware of their stance." Wtf more do you want? You want people to be omniscient? To know something before they know it? I don't understand how you're holding someone accountable for a lack of knowledge. That's asinine.

Yes, because full black/white contrast is harsher on the eyes than a dark grey with white or light-grey text. For power/efficiency, black pixels definitely makes sense, but concerning user experience and eye strain, there are many good reasons certain color palettes are used.

Yes, but that doesn't mean it is infallible.

As a fellow web dev, I disagree! Cross browser support adds very little overhead in my experience, and not doing it in 2023 is really just lazy and unacceptable imo.

The curl command pulls data from a URL into your terminal. So you can actually go to cheat.sh in a web browser to see what the output would be (also wouldn't necessarily recommend doing this vs. blindly pasting commands, but in this case, perfectly safe!). It looks like a little Unix command helper tool.

OP bout to copy/paste this without knowing what it does lol.

I just got started today, but Connect has been working pretty well for me on Android. I had some issues with Jerboa, but I've heard others say it works well for them. For now, I'm waiting on Sync for Lemmy to release, but I'm also thinking of spending some time writing my own UI as a fun side project!
