It's typical of the way he speaks coming from a salesman and promoter background. He says a lot that can't be argued with because there's really nothing there to argue. He also has a confidence and structure around the words that allows people to read things into what he's saying. People supporting him will see him as saying what they believe and people against him will see him saying the opposite of what they believe. In reality, he didn't say anything of substance, but he managed to get both sides worked up. It's very fascinating to see both supporters and opposers get so emotional over things being said that have absolutely no substance. It's a great study in tribalism, group think, and general psychology.

I think people need to go outside and interact with each other in person. That's the best way to date.

I'm using using a Revanced patched version of RIF is Fun to access Reddit. I have a VPN with ad blockers running. The app doesn't have location permissions. I am getting ads for my city in it. The odd thing is that before the banning of 3rd party Reddit apps, I never got ads on RIF. I'm not only curious how they're finding my location, but if anyone is getting paid for these ads since RIF has officially shut down and it's only usable because of the Revanced patch.

I have found pictures from decades ago that I didn't remember until seeing the pic. When you get old, your memory gets really hazy. Looking at old photos really helps to bring back those memories.

"Government is not reason, it is not eloquence,—it is force! Like fire, it is a dangerous servant, and a fearful master; never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action.”

-George Washington (allegidly) The true author is debatable, but the quote is accurate, none the less.

It's easier to bitch about what's wrong than to actively do something to make it better.

Who would share their wifi? That's just inviting someone to use it for nefarious things because they're not responsible for it.

I didn't know that was still in place, since they started testing for AIDS decades ago.

Equality should be in protection of rights. People are not equal, and never will be. They should have equal rights, though.

Steve Vai is a better guitarist than I am. He shouldn't have his fingers broken so that we both have equal ability to play the guitar.

Trying to make people equal in every way is evil. It only brings the best in every field down to the level of the worst, since there's no way to bring everyone up to the level of the best in every field.

Play Protect is meant to protect Google from people installing apps outside of the Play Store.

I've tried T̶w̶i̶t̶t̶e̶r̶ X, and it just seems like a bunch of angry people text yelling at each other. It's like walking in to a huge room with 25 different arguments going on, and it's hard to tell what is even happening. I really don't get the appeal. I tried Mastodon, because I thought it might be better. It didn't appear to be.

Henry Ford did that.

I don't believe Liftoff or Thunder require Play Services or microG.
