That's not "his" evil plan

Fair, but as the puppet in this theater of government takeover, he is culpable.

which doesn't even include the president for life part, that was wishful thinking out loud

Clearly, him wishing to be a dictator does not concern you…

the part about jailing opponents is mainly related to those who exploited due process in the political sphere in the past eight years

Can you outline these for me, with some references? The list is:

  • Joe Biden
  • Kamala Harris
  • Mitch McConnell
  • Chuck Schumer
  • Mike Pence
  • Liz Cheney

are we really going to hold someone accountable just because of their toxic fandom?

Absolutely, when he stands by them.

Or enslavement?

I would say, most of the time, if the game-have is not a jerk, they will be fine with you saying, “Can you slow down?” or asking a question. But like the main comment on this thread said, maybe I just have great game-having friends and acquaintances.

Coincidentally, I saw a similar comment where the the new player was the antagonist, saying things like, “That’s too complicated!” to a simple rule. I tried to find it, but I had no luck.

For your spoiler, I knew what the theme was, but there were other viable options which made it harder!

What has Trump actually done that screams "I am an outright villain for this nation, fear me"?

Do you mean besides the evil plan (project 2025), his explicit statements of becoming “president for life”/overstepping the bounds of the 2-term presidency, talking about jailing his opponents (including some republicans), his associates calling for violence, his lawyers referencing immunity to political violence (military assasination of a political rival), and an actual insurrection by his followers?

marijuana is a registered drug because of its 'danger', but alcohol is not. it would be comical if it wasnt so sad

Worse, it’s a “schedule 1” drug, which is defined as having:

  • a high potential for abuse.
  • no currently accepted medical treatment use in the U.S. Drugs.com

Interestingly enough, that definition fits one of these substances, but it’s not pot.

It bothers me that this article calls Epstein “the disgraced financier” instead of “the human trafficker”.

Obviously this won’t work for all sports, but things like football, track, soccer, it would allow for de-gendered team, even allowing athletes with the skills but not the genetically-endowed physical attributes to have a place to play.

Note: I know very little about sports and being on a sports team, so please point out anything that doesn’t make sense.

Some cephalopods are able to fly through the air for distances of up to 50 metres (160 ft). While cephalopods are not particularly aerodynamic, they achieve these impressive ranges by jet-propulsion; water continues to be expelled from the funnel while the organism is in the air. The animals spread their fins and tentacles to form wings and actively control lift force with body posture. One species, Todarodes pacificus, has been observed spreading tentacles in a flat fan shape with a mucus film between the individual tentacles, while another, Sepioteuthis sepioidea, has been observed putting the tentacles in a circular arrangement.

I didn’t get it when I was a kid, not having any idea what it was to suffer or even work a full 8 hours. Now that we’re here gestures to the world around us and I’m older and I understand those things, it hits hard. I don’t know why the songs came into my head lately, but they kind of give me hope. These kids did this, breaking the oppression put on them with their situation and corporate greed. Maybe we can too. I probably need to watch a whole documentary on the situation, but this has a nostalgic draw and emotional attachment to me. And god, the fucking news guy was on their side?! Imagine.

🎶 Leftist dream, wait for me… 🎶

Trying to practice good opsec while doing research. Let me know if I’m dumb, but: a) will this track me? b) is this information reliable?

Another take on that is that he wasn't going to war for his school at all. That's ignoring the previous comments about it not being about the school at all (which is partly true), but recognizing the validity of that perspective. My point is that even if the war had been about the school itself, that wasn't what Harry was fighting for. He was fighting for his home.. Books or movies, Hogwarts was the one place that Harry felt was home. Not the Durselys', not even the Weasleys.

Hogwarts was Harry's first real home. So, even if he hadn't been the "chosen one", even if voldemort was attacking the school directly as a goal without any of the rest of the part about him and Harry, I think he still would have fought as hard as he could to defend it. You could make Harry a supporting character with his parents just having died of natural causes, and him being taken in by the Dursleys to eventually go to school at Hogwarts with nothing else involved, and that kid would still have fought for the one place he felt at home.

Hogwarts was like that for other students, but Harry had that abusive household and extremely limited freedom to make other social connections. That's an ideal setup for someone to attach to something as wonderful as Hogwarts was in comparison. I really think that Harry would have fought just as hard or harder for no other reason than that.
