Just out of curiosity I tried getting the server running on my Android phone and it works! Redirect from the UntrackMe app is also working. Not sure how much of a battery drain it will be but I'll keep testing it.

I tried it on pizza and thought it was interesting but the people I worked with couldn't eat pizza without it.

Nope Nitter is a custom front end for Twitter, here's the description from GitHub Really awesome project:

A free and open source alternative Twitter front-end focused on privacy and performance. Inspired by the Invidious project.

  • No JavaScript or ads
  • All requests go through the backend, client never talks to Twitter
  • Prevents Twitter from tracking your IP or JavaScript fingerprint
  • Uses Twitter's unofficial API (no rate limits or developer account required)
  • Lightweight (for @nim_lang, 60KB vs 784KB from twitter.com)
  • RSS feeds
  • Themes
  • Mobile support (responsive design)
  • AGPLv3 licensed, no proprietary instances permitted

I'm guessing it's the patch they did to show NSFW content whether or not the NSFW checkbox is checked.

I think this one in particular will be very useful for me!

This is exactly why I'll never buy from Apple, the first problem in addition to the horrible contrast is intentionally caused by them so you will think other services are inferior. Either that or it's your cell provider, I've been able to text and call over Wi-Fi for years.

Google FI also works with networks from all over the world for no extra cost so that's really nice for international travel.

This is the first I've heard of LASIM, love that it copies blocks as well. I've been using lemmy-migrate and I don't think there's any options for block lists but otherwise it works really well across multiple accounts

This is great, already use that feature to whitelist my contacts list and love the silence

I was wondering where I took that picture! I knew it was during my drive to Tacoma but couldn't remember where. Had my DSLR on me.
