Tell me more about how you've come to the conclusion that the CPC doesnt care about its own internal rule of law or defacto punishments after the fact despite the article suggesting nothing of the sort;

You're going to have to tell where you got that, haven't said anything like that. I said it seems little punishment, is that what you're trying to make into a massive racial insult?

Or maybe... You just jump into the "racist!" Bandwagon regardless of context?

Or Russia! Remember that saying anything bad about Russia is also racist.

Or maybe it's not the color of the skin what the issue... But that would mean independent thinking, which is frowned upon by tankies. I'm assuming you're a tankie because you say things a tankie would say. It's generally a very weak way to make assumptions, but given it's exactly what you're doing, seems only fair.

What he did was illegal. Even without specific laws about genetic modification or cloning, he did perform experiments with babies without the necessity approvals from ethics and safety, without informed consent from the parents and likely misusing funds allocated to other research.

3 years is still to short.

I've blocked that instance, but if they need more material to ban me I have it.

A lot of contexts? Like the development depending on formula vs mother's milk? Experimenting doesn't need to mean vivisection or injecting unregulated drugs, but if you need to do the experiments illegally, I'm not sure it was something "safe"

It might be a bit early for you. It's in a way like Lemmy, somebody has to put it on a server and let you use it.

It's meant for government agencies to deploy and use (although anybody with some self hosting knowledge can do on their servers, including hobbiests and companies)

Is nobody concerned that illegal experiments on babies only gets you 3 years?

Maybe they were Uyghurs so it was classified as "property damage" in Chinese law.

Foss, just deploy and enjoy

One "day". Doesn't need to be a numbered version. It's there same as any other non immutable release in a way. Ubuntu 24.10 is different from one day to another, even with the same version number.

They take a specific version of arch, then add packages/changes selectively.

A little bird told me it's quite a pain that arch updates so fast, because if they want to update package A they need to deal with a dependency hell due to everything having update on the meantime, and switching to Debian was even discussed still around the time OLED was released.
