Extremely helpful, thank you so much! It seems what I might be looking for is more along the lines of using the panels as a compliment to lower my bill overall, at least, from what I understand.

That answers it, thank you.

Yep, that's exactly what's happening here with me (I had to disconnect from Proton to submit this reply, then reconnect). Not sure if it's an issue with Lemmy or Proton.

On desktop, the submit a post page will load indefinitely without proceeding when connected with Proton. On mobile (using Boost for Lemmy), I always get "an unknown error occurred" when submitting anything to Lemmy. Anyone else having this issue?

I know very little about in-depth electrical work so I would definitely need professional electrician assistance, but I am looking for a sort of "how to disconnect from the power company" and go full solar? I understand that it's becoming much less expensive to purchase and maintain, and I would like to free myself from $300/month electrical payments on my residence.

If it helps, I live in the mideast USA.

Any help is really appreciated! :)

I mean, I understand this argument, but Mozilla is still vastly superior to the alternatives. And as others have pointed out, even if Mozilla kicks the bucket, Firefox is open source and forks exist.

Mozilla has been making a lot of questionable decisions, but they are nowhere near the point-of-no-return yet. Mozilla is still a company, and companies make corporate decisions.

Is there anything you'd recommend as a migration tutorial from someone who's used windows their whole life?

Agreeing that it is wise to not grow overconfident.

We still are far from winning this battle.

The less policies that target hispanics from voting, the purpler texas gets. My sister lives in Dallas and the support for Harris in the cities is colossal right now. They're a democrat president and a governor away from being swing, but those are hard to fight for.

Really feels like Vance is being set up as the fall guy to blame when trump loses.

"If he had just picked someone else as VP, he would've won!" -conservatives in five months

At first, I was pissed that he didn't bow out two months ago.

Now I have nothing but respect for the man. He realized when to step aside and let his partner take the reign, and did so with effective enough timing to throw a massive wrench into the republicans' plans.

If Kamala wins, history will see him as the kind elder statesman who knew when to step aside for the good of the country.

The American public isn't yet ready for AOC in executive office, as great a she would be. Her time is yet to come.

Definitely should have happened 6 months ago, but better late than never - something about planting a tree.

This also robs the GOP of the hE's ToO oLd argument, which is one of their only effective attacks.
