I just realized I made a "mistake" and used url instead of direct_url for the response which will cause issues in lemmy specifically as it has to be the direct url being posted. I've fixed my post and download link. If you could update it in the OP as well that would be much appreciated!

Finally. I coudln't watch youtube before because none of the thumbnails caught my attention. Now I can go through my whole sub feed and be interested in videos!

Yeah that's a shame but with many of their users leaving and a lot of the content there being restricted there's not much you're losing anyway.
