Oh yeah for sure, the situation in the US is something I dread. The fact that the cost of living in the US is near the equal to ours is mind-blowing to me when I read about their average wage level.
I think it's interesting to see the US cost of living catching up to that of my country (Norway). I've always looked at US prices and envied them, but now I'm just like "Whey! That's a normal price!". Based on what I'm reading I'm guessing wages aren't keeping up in the same manner though...
No disagreements about about him being a prick, but wishing cancer and even death on another person seems pretty wild to me.
I find it funny that Americans (esp. Republicans) who love to «win» at all things, would be fine to allow Russia to win against the west in Ukraine. I think if they decide to stay on their isolationist path, Lavrov’s propaganda from earlier in the week will come true, and the US will seize to be a superpower. «Greatest country in the world»? Starting to look pretty weak to me.
I swear all these memes are generated by Trump's own people.
Ah yes, the Tesla development approach.
Is it actually thriving? I haven’t downloaded it or made an account to check so I wouldn’t know, but I would’ve thought I’d have seen the content referenced from other places if this was the case… So far I think I’ve seen one Thread screenshotted and linked and it was Zuck’s demo one or something…
And what will people post on lemmy about?
Putin appears very weak from all this. I doubt this would ever be any of his ideas.
I honestly don't care whether or not reddit (the company) gives a shit. I just want users to realize that reddit deserves to be replaced by something more open and user focused.
Ranking is hard. My biggest gripe with this however, is that the front page doesn't seem to cache my filter/sorting options between page reloads. I've resorted to replacing the anchor href on the logo with my own preferred pre-filtered search result href, via JS injection.
Big W for the Trump campaign…
