"Folks I appointed them for the exact reason you are mad at me for. So stop being mad at me. I did it on purpose not by mistake!"

Rofl what a defence.

Fundamentally do not understand why they wouldn't be appointing judges.

Total bs. We should have the right to know what our governments goals are.

Exactly what I was thinking. This just sounds like it would be a victim impact statement which serves very standard.

I also fail to see how it could possibly be considered irrelevant.

A bright spot in Ontario's otherwise dismal government actions. Hopefully we can continue this with more investment down the line.

was really worried early on with Bailao in the lead. Was wondering if we were going to pull an Ottawa.

While she wasn't my top candidate glad I voted for her. Letting the city rot for another 4 years under Bailao wasn't an option.

Bailao catching up quick. https://twitter.com/MainStResearch/status/1673152994878029825

Kinda sucks they dropped the ball on that specific point because much of the article is great.

More police will just be a bandaid. solution for the long run needs to be addressed at a societal level. Can only hope we elect leaders who have the vision and drive to tackle the root issues.
