I actually framed my associate degree from Pierpont Community and Technical College because, even though it’s "just" an associate’s, I’m super proud of it. And when I earn my bachelor’s degree—even though I’m newly retired—I’ll be hanging it right beside it.

Why do people care about getting banned from communities they don’t interact with?

Some users would get into arguments with some, then show screenshots of recent bans (from communities the other user never even posted in) and say, "See? You're a troll! Look ya just got banned!!"

I don't think people should be allowed to be banned from communities that they've never posted in just for that reason.

Happens already. Auk on slrpnk instance has a bot that counts your upvotes/downvotes. And auto bans u based on the counts. Even if you've never been to his community
