He did that while in the white house too. For a bunch of teens I think it was. What an amazing memory for those guys...

I feel like we're all stuck in a movie where all the rich people live on some kind of floating island or satellite with everything they need to live well, and all of us have zero chance of going there in c/showerthoughts@lemmy.world

Yeah a few times. The one that came to mind first was my ex wife. She always made sure to not say anything about divorce but couldn't even stand to be in the same room as me anymore. I was texting her about a year into the "separation" and it just clicked. She didn't want to be the reason for the divorce but she had no intention of trying to fix anything.

Companies in China have to fully comply with anything the government wants. It may be a private company but that doesn't mean they can refuse the government like US companies can.
