My only complaint is not enough people commenting on / interacting with posts. I’m guilty of it myself (I was also mostly a lurker on Reddit) so I’m not trying to blame anyone but Lemmy often feels like a ghost town.

AKA, Warner Bros. wants to milk their customers for as much money as they can with as little effort as possible.

I respect her speaking up for herself, but once a company has decided to let you go there is no amount of talking you can do to convince them to change their mind.

Especially with the mention of “rewards”. Hopefully it will be something very minimal but if they start locking rewards behind a feature some may not want to participate in I don’t foresee things going well. Thoughts?

In any case, shall we make a Lemmy clan once this rolls out? LoL.

Can someone explain to me how Bluesky is different than Mastodon and if it’s not different why they bothered creating it when Mastodon exists? I truly don’t get it.

Iron Lad hit Onslaught on The Nexus. Then I played Onslaught and Mystique to copy Onslaught. Iron Man put the final nail in the coffin. I have no clue why my opponent stayed and let me have those 8 cubes.

Google’s search results have definitely declined in recent years. It’s why I’ve mostly been using Perplexity for searching now.

I’ll bet my life savings it isn’t a choice for most….its a necessity these days.

Kobo is the only other manufacturer I know of that gets fairly good reviews. Do Boox devices really fail that much? I haven’t heard that.

The irony of this post is the fact that Reddit’s new API policy will literally make such an extension pointless starting in July. People should just….not post on Reddit…

I usually have enough restraint to not spend ridiculous amounts of money on digital cards that I’ll never physically own but goddamn this Darkhawk variant looks so good. Ugh…

I see the countdown every day around 10-14hrs. but nothing ever changes. It’s been the same cosmetic items since launch. When is it actually going to update with new stuff?

If losing third party apps ruins your reddit experience (oh no) just find another app or website.

Don’t worry, I did.

I think it is now because Lemmy.world seems to be more stable than Lemmy.ml

At this point, even if they were to reverse all the decisions they’ve made, I have no intention or desire to go back to Reddit. Lemmy has been a great replacement and I’m hoping it’ll only improve over time.

So is everyone actually staying here? I hope so. I am. I don’t really miss Reddit at all and I’m incredibly impressed how fast the community here is growing. I hope we can keep it going and let Reddit burn to the ground.
