You are talking to an Italian, we have literal fas*ists leading the government and taking revenge for having been marginalized for the last 75 years so I can not judge other countries in any way.
I thank people replying to my comment because some insights were mind-opening. Unfortunately I think that if we are at this point (in southern and eastern Europe), most policies of the last years have been wrong. People are sick and tired of it.
The real underlying question is: did the EU expand eastwards too soon?
Thanks to you for the appreciation and for using the app, it really means a lot to me. I love Lemmy and I am really glad if I've managed to contribute even a tiny little bit to make this place nice for us all. This journey has made me grow as an individual (more than as a developer), I received a lot in terms of support, help, new friends, etc. and I hope to be able to give it back to the community.

I'm Italian and just seeing Prodi's face (a picture of him 30 years ago btw) makes me sick. Don't worry guys, he has been never accurate in anything and literally lied to the nation in multiple occasions, so rest assured his words will never become true.
This fork is the new official one. A new community has been created recently to replace the old one too.
We are planning to release a new version, at least on GitHub asap. The announcement is likely to be given in tomorrow's Q&A session (the monthly AMA).
update: we have decided to continue the project starting from the latest active fork and re-create a new community here.
Maybe I'm too old (in my late 30) but I tend to be quite cynical. No good has come and the worst part has yet to come.
