Yeah, this one was among the most requested features. Glad it went through!
Different teams working on different priorities. Simple and hard as that, IMHO.
Hi, can't reproduce on my end. What OS and app version are you using? Did you report it from the app, or got a ticket number with support?
You can always contact the support here: https://proton.me/support/contact
I may understand your point. The team is trying to figure out how to accomodate two different services in one account, but it's not there yet. It will probably be communicated on all of their social networks.
If you tell us the exact situation, I'll do my best to help you with the team. Of course you can contact them through their webform here: https://proton.me/support/contact
Completely understandable point, just mentioning that these are separate developer groups, developing different apps. That's why different products have different agendas and development cycles.
Yes, there's another thread about this: https://lemmy.world/post/1776651
Please continue the discussion there, so we don't have multiple threads discussing the same.
Sure! As official as it can get!
BTW, the right main user is /u/ProtonPrivacy@lemmy.world
Hi and welcome! Nice to see you around. We mods read all threads, here and there, checking if there's anything we can do to help.
Exactly as stated, F-droid won't allow apps that use Google Play Services for their notifications. It's being worked on, but there's not ETA for that change. Not an easy one, I may add.
Believe me when I say, I'll be one of the first users jumping around like a kid on a Christmas morning when that happens. Not for F-droid itself (I prefer to download from GitHub with Obtanium) but to each one its own...
It is an error. A fix to remove this is coming, as the team stated some hours ago:
