The McDonalds app is the most useful of all fast food options. My husband and I use the 2-for-1 breakfast sandwich deal on the Steak, Egg, & Cheese Bagel whenever we want to treat ourselves on the weekend. There is nothing else like it. Also, the McDonalds rewards rack up super quickly. Anytime, we need a light meal, I get one or two free sandwiches with reward points. 10/10 recommend. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Taco Bell would be my second choice if only because their cravings box scratches the hunger itch so fantastically. ๐Ÿคค

My vote too.

If you expand the format to rice + dried bean/legume/grain (e.g. lentils, quinoa), you can really expand your possibilities without breaking the bank.

I'm super eager for others to respond to some initial posts I've kicked on webnovels@kbin.social. Come on by! ๐Ÿ‘‹

I have success going the route of adding spaghetti directly from the pan with the bacon (or guanciale if I happen to have it) right into a bowl with the egg/cheese instead of egg/cheese into the pan. Residual heat does a good job of getting egg to a creamy texture.

Every morning, we rotate between a Bialetti moka pot + an Espro P3 french press for coffee depending on what level of expression/mouthfeel we're craving out of our beans that day.

For cooking uses, my most used gadgets are:

  • a Ninja digital air fryer to toast/crisp things on the fly.
  • a Instant Pot to pressure cook beans or meat when meal prepping.
  • a Zojirushi for plain or zhushed up rices for meal prep also.
  • a FoodSaver sealer is also used on the reg every time we restock on meat in the freezer or need to store leftovers.

Also coffee related now that I'm thinking on it...

  • an OXO water kettle to heat water for coffee either way we make it.
  • a microwave to heat up milk for coffee every morning + to reheat meals throughout the day.
  • a Baratza Encore to flipflop between diff grind sizes.

Holy Jesus, I will be shit out of luck during the next power outage that happens.

In addition to the bidet response above, we have a Squatty Potty in every bathroom of our house. You can wet a tissue to sub out not having a bidet, but a toilet stool is sorely missed when we travel.

Congratulations on the upcoming interview!

Not sure your field or exp level at all to give specific guidance, but my main thing is to try to give yourself grace after you get through it. You won't be able to help second-guessing everything, but things work out however they do. If you aren't selected, it's great to build experience going through the process. I'd recommend reaching out to the point of contacts post-interview for any feedback they can provide you with.

Edit: since you are specifically asking about pre-interview... My habits tend to be researching online about common questions for ppl in my field + just practicing my responses aloud. Going through the motions a few times beforehand makes me feel more prepared, whether those responses get used or not.
