I'm running mine on one but be careful: Oracle can stop your instance or ban you without a reason any time. They will just tell you your "trial" is over.

WSL is nice if you want to build things/run software for Linux, otherwise.. just use Linux. Also it's a nice way to run Docker without paying for it.
I've had around 20 of 'lol exploit' queries in my instance. Luckily none of them succeeded.
Movies? Usually it's like "go to malware.com for the password" but you wont get infected from movie files.

It's because your instance pulls content AFTER someone joins the community in another instance. You don't log in to other instances to post, you can do so in your current instance.
Any computer will work, it's just that RPI4 is more power efficient.
Hetzner's storage boxes are great. Very cheap too.
As much bandwidth and storage you can have, even a Raspberry Pi 4 would work I think
