Friendly tip as you go, the nim stdlib documentation is extensive albeit a bit hard to peruse. The index is your friend. And folks on the discord/forum are pretty helpful.

I have! I think I started using it around this time last year after having started AOC2022 with golang and wanting to wade into other languages. Nim is super versatile and I've enjoyed using it for some toy applications.

That's way less than what I pay to vultr for a less powerful VPS to host my own set of services (lemmy, gotosocial, gitea). I gotta find a cheaper host 🙃.

I use futhark runes for my machines and set an ASCII representation of the rune symbol as the /etc/{issue,motd}

Loaded quake on all the computers in a classroom. Which were conveniently arranged to make it impossible for a teacher to see all screens at once. And with no effort we were able to play multi-player matches basically every class. A substitute even joined in one time.
