if I go to https://lemmy.ca/c/canucks I can see the posts, but if I put !canucks@lemmy.ca into the search field of beehaw (the instance my account is on) and sub, I get routed to https://beehaw.org/c/canucks@lemmy.ca to which I was "pending" and now "joined" but I there are 0 posts there.. what am I doing wrong?

I searched for and found a community on another instance, but I don't see any options to subscribe.. could someone ELI5? I must be missing something obvious.

I'm using Firefox via Android if that makes a difference?
