Oh, I really don't do anything special, just a little drop of oil near the pin. You can feel that it goes in because the friction holding the scales diminishes.
I repeat that every few shaves. I *think* this treatment keeps water from getting in there

I think it's because they are open blades. The learning curve is real and the nicks are of a different "quality" than when learning safety razors π

I've now ordered a non-xs Zenith horse, and it's 50 % horse mane, 50 % pony tail. I may have to try an xs too, later onπ
