Baby Duck syndrome is real, and probably the reason I'm using Lubuntu; it superficially resembles the OSs I grew up using (Win9x/OS9/WinXP.) Windows, MacOS, Gnome, and Mate on the other hand relentlessly change their interfaces.
Right and you don't know if it's an ubuntu deb or a debian deb. I seem to recall that being a pain point, and having to figure out what packages had different names to resolve dependencies... good times.
If the folks training AI don't respect the copy left licenses of the code they train on, will they expect anyone to respect the licenses they release their models under? We saw this with the immediate piracy of LLaMA.
I think it's a base model 3, no gobs of memory. I don't use it for anything especially taxing, just file storage and occasionally streaming music or low-resolution video. The bottleneck is the slow WD Archive hard drive.

Indeed, it's the job of the programmer to understand that natural language and use it to design a program. The lack of understanding is one thing that worries me about LLMs writing programs.
