Hello! I have recently begun gaming on Nobara Linux and overall, my experience has been quite good. The biggest issue I’ve experienced so far is not being able to control my Lian Li SL V2 fan controller. The fans connected to the controller are only recognized in my BIOS once I run L-Connect 3 in windows but if my system is shut down, they are no longer seen. I have seen this https://github.com/EightB1ts/uni-sync and a plugin for OpenRGB, but keep running into compilation errors and/or lack of maintaining the project. Any advice is very appreciated!

This is one of the most beautiful games I’ve ever played. Very simple gameplay, with an incredible soundtrack. A game that will stick with you

This guy is a great resource for Home Assistant and other smart home tech. I would start here https://youtu.be/ooFvyudbxNE?si=WzYS1IIyVS5TkmZ9

Kind of a dumb question but I’m genuinely curious: is this a worthwhile upgrade? I run a server with a single vm and a few dozen docker containers. I’m intrigued by performance and efficiency cores and whether there would be a noticeable effect on both energy efficiency and performance vs the 12th gen. I’ve looked at the cpu benchmark comparison and see the numbers and there looks like a big increase in performance with little downside other than the cost of doing it. Any input is appreciated.

I just watched it again and you’re right. Prince’s need to slay cracks me up even tho The Beatles aren’t a super guitar solo heavy band. So many legends in this performance. RIP

It’s one of my all time favorite Prince videos. You can see people nonverbally asking him to stop soloing but he won’t. It’s amazing.

I just made the switch from Plex a few weeks ago. Overall, I like the UI of Jellyfin better and haven’t had any difficulty playing media that I played on Plex. Once MFA and offline sync are added to Jellyfin, I won’t miss Plex at all.

I’m running Zigbee2MQTT in docker. You could also run HomeBridge docker along side that, eliminating the need for Home Assistant. I still use Home Assistant as my front end but Zigbee is running on a Pi and HomeBridge is on my unraid server. Regardless, look into HomeBridge. It is very powerful for exposing non-HomeKit devices to that platform. I also have multiple Shelly devices and absolutely love them. I just didn’t want to replace my 9 Hue devices needlessly. I’ve been very impressed with the speed of Zigbee2MQTT over the Hue bridge so far.

I use the Sonoff RF Bridge flashed with tasmota https://sonoff.tech/product-document/gateway-and-sensors-doc/rfbridge-doc/. It’s been rock solid. It looks like there are newer versions that can’t be flashed so do some research before buying. For IR, I purchased a Tuya IR Wi-Fi device and replaced the Wi-Fi chip with an ESP-12f flashed with Tasmota. The process isn’t the easiest but I’m happy with the results. This is the device I bought: https://www.ebay.com/itm/144473686315?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=z4O68KxtR8S&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=aQmoJOvlQJy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY. Range is good but placement is key due to how the IR blasters are positioned. Good luck!
