Is there a sub that is less focused on interesting data, and more focused on data presented beautifully?

Ok, so when I'm next driving through a Swiss tunnel, and suddenly the tunnel twists inside itself infinitely, I can blame FreeCAD.

I feel like the level of snark in your reply is... High. It doesn't make for a pleasant interaction, and it doesn't help make lemmy a nice place to be.

So, if the image you want to put into your email is not hosted somewhere, what's the best way to go about this, ensuring compatibility?

Got a link? I find it hard to believe that a process like that would stop because of a few windows machines not booting.

Iirc, they were left behind when troops moved out. The drip doohickey would make it fire after a while, giving the enemy the impression the trenches were still manned.

I'm playing a character at the moment, one of my favourites, but as it gets more powerful I can't ignore the current dissonance.

I'm playing as a headband of intellect whose previous owner was engulfed by a gelatinous cube. The headband then granted the cube intelligence, who sees itself as a cleric of Jubilex.

I've ended up playing this cube as a happy go lucky explorer who just wants to see the world and be friends with everyone. And the party healer, of the life domain.

But then I read into Jubilex. Not exactly the loving life domain type. So now I'm not sure where I want to take this thing.

Fuck, I love this game.

I'm about to sit down for the next six hours. I'm happy to stand for a bit.

It's like, gotta be just one line of code, right?

It would be interesting to see this chart when the UK was included.

I don't know if I would consider Voyager to be 'dead' if it stops transmitting.

If I put a message in a bottle, with a blinky light on it, then throw it into the ocean, the message is still there even if the blinky light goes out.

My buddy upgraded to a mesh network and named it 'one wifi to bind them'

Heard a story about a wifi network in an apartment building called 'We can hear you having sex'

Ooh exciting, I've wanted to find someone with your knowledge! I couldn't find a good answer when I was researching this a while back.

How powerful of a laser would I need to cut 18mm ply at a workable speed? Would I need crazy cooling setups? And what size steel or aluminium could I cut with that?

This would be a home DIY setup, but on the 'serious business' side of DIY.
