How does this gif have sound? Since when is this possible?

Really ? that's so cool. Idk how often i re-watched this episode, From the moment Burnham jumps off that asteroid and glides / maneuvers trough the battlefield always gets me high.

There's a certain flow in the visuals, combined with the music and ongoing brabble between Michael and Spock that gets me hypnotized instantly.

I also love that last fight between Philippa and Leland, while the corridor keeps centrifuging slowly.

Yes - also both Spock episodes.

Speaking of Vulcans, i saw a Lower Decks episode featuring some Vulcans yesterday and imo they nailed the Vulcan mood.

Looks like a Brazilian

Oh, i was born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany

I grew up mostly in Brazil

My father is Brazilian ( a guy very similar to Rutger Hauer, very northern european, the most cliche german in the room )

Ah, no, my mom is neither, she's Colombian, born in Bogota.

I have both nationalities, Brazilian and German - the most "fun" i had with this, was when i was recruited by the military.

Both countries went "we don't care, if you already served in another country. If you are german/brazilian and eligible, you'll be recruited!"

Luckily i ended up not being recruited at all.

Thanks for the tip - I'll surely make a dump and the re-tagging should be worth it. I actually always enjoyed tagging mp3s. There's something rewarding in hearing and seeing the result playing out.

Also, good to have your data also "in your hands", literally.

I'm really curious if my purchased music will be included.

Under the Skin - with Scarlett Johansson. There's almost no dialogue. No exposition about anything, or names - just the short lifespan of an alien. Disguised as a woman, they're part of what seems to be a hidden alien colony living amongst humans.

The soundtrack is haunting, hypnotizing and beautiful.

It's also slow and sad.

All the big companies who owned a majority of cable television channels have all essentially created their own streaming service

Before that, we had all their content together available on Netflix. Like it should be.

Imagine if each record label would do their own streaming service and pull their content from Spotify, YouTube music and Apple music.

Would all 3 take the Netflix way and start producing their own bands?

Music is still not being pirated as much as before Spotify & co existed. The streaming model still works.

I have a feeling that now, that the streaming model for movies & series got more confusing and more expensive than before, the seas will be full of pirates again.

I loved having all of Star Trek together on Netflix, together with everything else. Just like it is with music, it was somehow very comforting having such a good service for the money paid.
