It's kind of buggy where I'll enter characters but they won't register. I can verify this because when booting, sometimes my num and caps lock keys will have a delay after pressing before their light changes.

This is very annoying when trying to unlock the computer, because I essentially have to wait an arbitrary amount of time before I think inputs will register properly. This wouldn't be as much of an issue if I could, you know, get some feedback that they keys I'm entering are actually being entered.

Is there a way to change this to suit my needs better?

I was going through “fantasy books” on amazon and was surprised to see that most of them are written by women, and the ratio is not even close. I was kind of expecting the opposite.

Does anyone know why this might be the case?

Your misunderstanding comes from the type and amount of people that needed to have that knowledge.

For example, we don't need to know about ballistics to use a gun.

Even in the days of catapults, rough formulas for the effects of gravity made them work a lot better.

Do you have a source for this? I'm genuinely curious, considering Newton didn't show up until the 17th century.

Glad to see X is still being worked on.

Torzu is the logical successor to Yuzu.

Lemmy is a bit more open thanks for the modlog.

We literally don't know how much is being censored and reddit because mods can remove anything they want without leaving evidence.

Let me guess, you're the kind of person who thinks we need to understand gravity to make use of it.

I really wish people like you could just have their mouths taped shut and their fingers glued together.

Good luck.

Keep in mind there's no way to rush hours. Whenever you're learning something, you can ask yourself roughly how many hours you've spent on it. That should reflect your skill and there's no way around it.

An argument could be said that 3D space is infinitely more complex than 2D space.

As with most things, skill comes with practice. It's not really worth forcing people to learn something that has a low likelihood of being relevant to their lives, but simple exposure to something like Blender or Godot would be great for making more people familiar with 3D software.

It takes power away from the hands of corporations.

Sorry you got suckered into choosing bluesky over Mastodon. Hopefully you'll learn one day.

We need a database of pigs and ICE.

Just cleaned by bong today, it's hitting like air.

It's just giving me a list of 'recommended' addons. How do I find the ones that aren't recommended?

Terrible design, by the way. This was definitely made just to make developers' lives easier.

Fix: I was using an older version by mistake. Updating shows the option to get more addons than just the recommended ones at the bottom.

Kind of weird it wasn't included for awhile.
