Taking a narrow myopic view leads to single issue voting, and that has caused ridiculous levels of damage to the public.

The first 2 on the legend look darker than the following 3 .

I agree with the zombiepirate. Colour coded maps are useless for about 25% of the population.

the Cons have essentially stopped the HoC from functioning for over 2 months.

Yet far too many people seem to think voting for the cons would be better than any of the other options.

I fear for the outcome of the next election.

This isn't a logical statement.

That can be assumed of any statement that Trump makes.

did the product description indicate the internet connection was required?

That's an important question.

That said, we were recently appliance shopping and none of them said that it was required, but a couple of the negative reviews mentioned it.

We ended up choosing one of the very few that didn't list wifi or an app as a feature. Hopefully there isn't a stealth modem hidden in there somewhere. I guess we'll find out next week when it's delivered...

Aggressive and escalating.

The longer you leave a residential property vacant, the higher the tax rate becomes.

Speculating on residential housing needs to become costly - more expensive than making it livable and available for people to live there.

Of course he isn't.

But there have to be some saner self-interested people in his orbit that realize how much a trade war will fuck up their profits.

Before we get to that point, it's a better idea for government and business leaders to communicate with their American partners to have them put pressure on Trump and his advisors to avoid those tariffs in the first place.

And the Canadian government is already doing that. They've been planning contingencies since (at least) the US primaries.

.

Of course, they're not going to send out a press release detailing those plans - it would be stupid to alert the very people you'll be negotiating with to the details of all your plans.

The Cybertruck's steel is made in "coils that resemble giant rolls of toilet paper,"

All steel is shipped from the steel mill in coils just like that.

Other manufacturers of all manner of stainless products seem to have figured out a solution to the problem.

I am hesitant to put my hands on the chest of a woman who hasn't given consent.

The trend isn't confined to the Bow Valley or even to Alberta. The federal government has temporarily eased limits on how many temporary foreign workers a business can hire in low-wage positions, and employers across Canada have increasingly made use of the program.
