Reading this chart, these three are equally morally wrong:

  • Being drunk (1.0) without a future Hitler nearby
  • Being sober without a future Hitler nearby
  • Being sober with everyone around you being a future Hitler

Not sure if I can agree on all of those being morally equal...

I get to have the novel experience of ✨being tired✨ whenever I get drunk

bonus points if you pirate, play through the game, and then buy it only if you enjoyed it

we have an excel spreadsheet at my workplace that takes a solid 2 minutes to open and even longer to close and accesses a number of other spreadsheets with read/write access in the background. it's an absolute monster.

(it's essentially a database that keeps track of the calibration dates for our testing equipment)

Hi there,

I just switched from a Pixel 4a to a Fairphone 5 and on the Pixel when using adaptive brightness, i was able to lower the brightness to a specific value and that value would be set as the maximum for adaptive brightness (same for increasing to a brightness value and that being the new minimum). On my new Fairphone, that behaviour seems to be gone - is there any way of replicating/re-enabling this?

fun fact: water should react most strongly to the radiation used in microwaves while ceramic plates and glass should be pretty much inert - feel free to test by inserting first an empty mug of your choice, then doing the same wirh the mug filled with water and coming back to us with your findings :)

Here is a nice starting point for further reading

also as a side note: metals also react very strongly and the strong reaction of metals combined with the weak reaction of ceramic materials is why microwave kilns are a thing (for an explanation see the appropriate section here under "modern kilns")

Read "read" as imperative rather than past tense

also love the fact that only the finely dressed one gets to wear a gas mask - realism at its finest

it's just a launch vehicle if you remove the warhead

(fun fact: an easy way of disposing of nuclear ICBMs is to just remove the nuclear warhead, put something useful on it instead, and shoot it off into space)

please close and reverse the tool, then grip it tightly and drive it into the skull of the complaining customer

nore worried about the fact that of those that answered that global warming isn't occurring, only 50% still think that it doesn't exist in a different question. did the other 50% just suddenly reconsider?
