Bobby Ewing turns around on his chair. "Amateurs!!!"

I had no idea it was a solo project, but now that you mention it, yes, it's written big on the cover :) And yes, the lineup, the choir, the stage props, I just love it!

Pure Pink Floyd would be The Division Bell then.

The Wall Live in Berlin. The CD is awesome, the DVD, thanks to the cinematography simply breathtaking.

Seriously, you played behind your mom's back. As did I and everyone else. Be careful, talk to her about the shitty tactics. She has to be aware of them, spot them, and know how they work to be able to avoid them. The hardest part will be for her to actually believe it. Those life service shit uses the most disgusting psychological tricks.

Or she will spent all her money behind your back someday.

We all had our tricks, and children will always be cleverer than their parents.

Wenn man nur früher hätte ahnen können was auf uns zukommt. Das kam ja alles so plötzlich.

Gog, it has cloud saves there. Also I should have written a script to copy the save files every twenty minutes or so in the background. Would have saved me after the crash I guess...

Thanks, but that's what I did the third time after reading about that problem. I guess it was the crash that time that screwed with the auto saves.

God, I hate shit like that! When it makes you wonder if you can quit the game because it's late for example. Does it save? When did it save last? That's just asshole design.

I'm playing Prey at the moment, it has quick saves aside of regular manual saving. It's so comfortable!

I played Control the first time without problems.

The second time my save games got messed up after doing the first mission for the janitor. Seemed my old cloud save games fucked it up. It became a mess.

The third time I deleted every cloud save, and it worked. Then, after ten hours the game crashed. And I lost three missions. And a lot of progress. None of the auto saves fixed it.

Dear Remedy, I have a PC. With a hard drive. I have room for thousands of save games. Let me fucking save my game myself!!

I had good memories of Control, but now my memories consist only of frustration. Why don't Devs put in a reasonable save system in their games?

I actually like this movie. A lot!

When they first fly into the future and you only see the skyline in the monitor, blurred and pixelated, and next scene they are walking through a street, and I never saw the real thing, it sparked my imagination as a child. And people driving bicycles through the street, no cars, oh what a future this was! I was just fascinated by this movie.

I can still watch this movie today and feel nostalgic! The mst3k version also is top tier!

The Dopefish. Many used it over the years, and most have at least seen it.

Hi.

When using my tablet (Android 13, Lenovo) to post in Thunder I always get the following error message:

type'_Map<String, dynamic> is not a subtype of type 'String'

What I did:

  • Turn off tablet, turn on tablet
  • several alternative keyboards
  • all system updates
  • newest app version
  • deleted Thunder and reinstalled it

This happens since about three or four Thunder updates have passed. Before that it worked fine.

Is it a bug? Or might it be a problem on my end?

Hello! I hope you have a nice sunday morning!

But if you can spare a few seconds, could you please make a short check about the compatability? Or if I am missing something? I write under the parts why I chose them if neccessary.

Usecase: Gaming, rarely modern games, mostly 5 years or older titles. Also video consumption, and a little bit of work like excel or word. NO streaming or video editing and stuff like that. I have a 32" 4k 144 hz monitor, but I have no problem with running games for example at 1080p, they still look nice.

The prices are definitly ok for my country, so I'm just asking if anyone can spot an incompatability or has a suggestion where I do something extremely stupid.

It has been 9 years since my last built so I must admit I'm a bit nervous. Also I don't really have a budget, but energy efficiency is my main goal for some of the parts.

Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D (409 Euro)

(longevity, using a i7 4770 for almost 9 years now, maybe I can repeat that)

Mainboard: ASRock B650 PG Lightning (204 Euro)

(many USB ports that I definetly will use)

RAM: G.Skill DIMM 32 GB DDR5-6000 (2x16 GB) 30-38-38-96 (113 Euro)

(low profile because big air cooler)

Air cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 (89 Euro)

(Silent Assassin is not available here, this was the next best thing)

Tower: be quiet! Dark Base 900

(already have it)

PSU: be quiet! Pure Power 12M 850W, 80+Gold (135 Euro)

(read good reviews)

Storage: WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 2TB (120 Euro)

(read good reviews)

GPU: Gainward GeForce RTX 4070 Ghost OC (599 Euro)

(very energy efficient, would have liked to go the AMD route, but they are too power hungry)

Soundcard: Soundblaster X-FI Titanium

(already have it, love the features and connectivity)

Total: Around 1650 Euro
