Absolutely true.

On paper though, he's a real estate tycoon (at least his father was one, Don's just trying to make his abusive dead father proud of him from beyond the grave).

That's all he has any, on paper, practical experience doing.

His money laundering is more one of those hobbies that's turned out to be his real passion. Like Bankrupting casinos.

His current handling of the largest government, economy, and military in human history; is pulling deep from those two hobbies.

It pretty much nails the point you're making. I finished that run and was like... Hrm, maybe superman is the bad guy
