Ditch OCH and switch to Usenet. I still regret not switching earlier. File hosters are outdated (from the usability perspective), restricted (in terms of usage), and overpriced.

There is no automation for file hosters. Solving filecrypt captchas and pushing to jdownloader is not possible to automate.

PS: It's called file hoster not OCH.

Private trackers and Usenet, great combo.

It means Dubbed. It's a short name for AC3.Dubbed

The audio track(s) have been dubbed to match with the video track.

The same applies to DTSD -> DTS.Dubbed

For some old customers they currently offer a $10 annual subscription including port forwarding, that's just insanely cheap.

Option one: Join private tracker communities, no need for a vpn here. You will find the majority of stuff here anyway, compared to public torrents.

Option two: Get and set up a vpn (preferable with port forwarding) in your bittorrent client. Bind your vpn connection to your network interface in qbittorrents advanced settings option page.

Option three: Use usenet, since there is no upload involved on your side you also need no vpn.

Piracy in Germany is kinda rare, don't expect to find many pirates in your private sphere. However if you find some, chances are they will try to stop your from torrenting and advise file hosters like ddownload or rapidgator. It's very common for German pirates, torrenting has a bad reputation due to law firms hunting down pirates.

Using file hosters instead of Usenet, that's a Paddlin'. Using JD2 instead of PyLoad, that's a Paddlin'. Using a headless version of JD2, that's a Paddlin'. Using an overpriced RPI, that's a Paddlin'.

Are you mixing up uploaders and release crews?

[-] max2078@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 1 year ago

The first question would be if you have any experience in torrenting in general and private trackers in particular?

Some trackers are notorious hard to join or even completely closed, however others have open signups or application signups. You are also missing some German private trackers in your list.

Some German private trackers like the already mentioned World-of-Tomorrow or SpeedTorrent Reloaded or The Shinning allow application signup, if you are already experienced in trackers. For other trackers like Immortuous one can signup on their forums and apply for an invitation. Just visit their sites and look for an application/signup link.

Your question is too generic to provide more helpful answers.

Some of these players even skipped the unskippable intros and always started at the main menu. The best thing for legit buyers and enthusiasts back in the day. And don't forget the (S)VCD support and DivX/Xvid support. Good old times.
