yeah, I use the PWA for Mobile. I know a lot of developers are waiting for Ernest to add API support for kbin, so it's why there's not that many apps that actively support kbin rn, outside of Artemis (instead of using an API, they scrape kbin for now).

Now that it's gone though, it should all be back to normal, so you should see subs from Lemmy and other Fediverse software update normally now.

You can 100% participate and sub to them from your Kbin account, or even your Mastodon account because all Fediverse apps use ActivityPub as its base. Just look for the community from the search section of your Fediverse instance, and sub to it there, and then you can interact with it from your current account. So for example, showerthoughts hosted on lemmy.world can be accessed on kbin via https://kbin.social/m/showerthoughts@lemmy.world
