What you are saying fits the american "liberal" label. What you are describing I would call social democrat, not a liberal. People calling themselves liberal in europe are, examples from sweden: compares public insight into publicly funded privatly owned companies to soviet, are for privatization of welfare institutions, collaborates with the far right, calls rightwing newspapers communist, and are against free speech at universities.

To be fair though, the meme is probably targeting socdems anyway so I guess fair enough.

[the right wing government] says it is implementing a “paradigm shift” in its migration policies [...]

Note that at the same time, the social deomocrats are trying to embrace this paradigm shift as their doing and that what is being done now is just details on their work.

government has proposed new initiatives to deport or repatriate migrants

This also includes just a vague "bad behavior", "vandel". And in examples given by government representatives it could mean things like being a victim of a crime.

Firefox snap on raspberry pi was mostly unusable, the deb worked fine, as an example.

"Some" appears to be 3. How many are left?

At least for sweden they appear to have shipping options with taxes/duty included. I don't have in front of me right now, but it was something like 200€ all inclusive shipping on a 500€ order. Something like that.

Sure, but their's is not flat

individuals earning below a set threshold receive payments instead of paying taxes

So it is not universal. It is not UBI. The difference it not billionaires but the middle class. The upper middle class may not need a UBI, but if you give it to them, they would be inclined to vote to keep it. If you only give a non-universal/progressive negative-tax/income, the middle class would be inclined to vote to vote to keep UBI way below "basic". Like tax breaks offered to the middle class, I hate them, but they are basically impossible to reverse because they are so popular. A UBI and whatever you want to call this is very different policies.

But they are not for a UBI, right? Because I think they want a negative tax, not something that is a universal income.

Wikipedia says center/center-left. But I've met a Volt member, and they were very neo-liberal.

How though? What policy do they think would sway a person voting far-right currently?

Hi,

I'm looking for some way to send my own alerts via e-mail in some way. Whenever I try to search for this, most docker images have a much grander goal, and I have a hard time understanding how to use them for my purpose.

What would I want? It'd be nice to have a docker running some smpt-server (I suppose), so that I can make my own python script that scrapes a website, looks at some metric, and e-mails me whenever whatever I'm looking for is found. I only want it to be available on and to receive mails from localhost, no dns, just forward e-mails to my personal one, no web-interface, etc.

I'm quite new to self-hosting, but I hope you still understand what I'm looking for. Is it possible? Should I look for another solution? Will this not work? Any help/input very much welcome.
