Reddit will be also used along with it until it’s demise

If people keep using it, it won't die. That's how websites that like work. Stop using reddit.

So many reddit mods were angry power-hungry assholes. I don't feel sorry for them just as much as I don't feel sorry for reddit's hopeventual collapse. I can't count how many times I had BS moderation enacted, then when I was perfectly civil, usually just asking for basic clarification as to why something was removed, was instantly silenced from further communication with the mods with threats of potential removal from participation in the sub or reddit entirely. I am not alone in this experience.

I run a discord server and freely explain to user that they are welcome to disagree with me, openly and freely, as while I run this unofficial community server about an event I don't own/operate,

The same is for a reddit mod, especially for broad topics and localities.

Unfortunately I do see the potential for similar behavior here in the fediverse. I can't say I know how to address it entirely, but I know I can act the way that's fair to the community of which I am only an administrator, not a ruler nor creator.

unfettered capitalism has not, and will not work except for those already at the top.

I have a launch switch and a PC. I've mostly played on PC, and also recently got a steam deck, so add that to the mix. The SD isn't much better than a switch, especially with the translation errors of emulation, but it's still better and a better screen for sure. PC is no contest better. CPU is the bottleneck on performance for the game, so while I have a Ryzen 7, Yuzu barely uses it, at most 30% utilization. My 3060ti is running at almost max, but it's also doing a solid 1440p60 with very little errors. What little graphical inconsistencies there are are massive outweighed by the better resolution, and higher framerate.

That was fixed weeks ago. I've been running it at 1440p60 without any issues. Like legit way better that a switch.

Seeing stuff about reddit being posted to 10 different technology boards, plus reddit-themed ones, then reposted further just makes this whole idea a mess. Reposts have to be consolidated into a single comment thread.

Centralized power in the hands of a few is a bad thing. People have been complaining about power-tripping Reddit power mods for years.

Because what happens when they don't mod to the standard the community wants?

What's wrong with last.fm? I've used them since 2007 and imo they're way better than something like Spotify. Lastfm is free.

Bitwarden has been amazing for me and I'm slowly getting my family to use it as well

Ditch Plex and get Jellyfin. Use Symfonium to play your music on your phone.

Spotify just shows you want they want you to listen to, just like any other streaming service. I've found more cool music within the past few years thanks to music communities than I ever did from Spotify, not to mention the giant amount of music that isn't even on Spotify to begin with.

For real, the person's name is LitigousEmma. This is one step away from a copyright troll, which imo seems to the the mortal enemy of the idea of FOSS. Did this Emma recognize all the developers of the programming languages they used, or the people who made the computer they worked on, or the pioneers of electronics in general? It's not like Emma took quarks and atoms and turned it into an web aggregator.
