All signs are now pointing to a team content to run it back.

If the Raptors do the expected, now, and bring back Fred VanVleet and re-sign Jakob Poeltl and don’t trade any of Pascal Siakam, O.G. Anunoby or Gary Trent Jr, the only other move of note this off-season will be a coaching switch. Out with Nick Nurse, who clearly no longer wanted to be here, and in with Darko Rajakovic, who couldn’t be happier in his new job.

Kevin Obanor, a fifth-year senior out of Texas Tech, is the latest addition, joining the Raptors on an Exhibit 10 deal, according to Bryan Kalbrosky of USA Today. The deal is non-guaranteed and will allow Toronto to keep Obanor with the Raptors 905 for the season.

Expect Obanor to compete for one of three two-way spots Toronto has this year. Fellow undrafted rookie Markquis Nowell has been inked to one of the two-ways with the remaining two up for grabs.

Dick wore No. 1 in high school, which he acknowledged was his preferred choice, but that number was not available at Kansas, so he switched to No. 4 instead.

Gradey Dick says he's been impressed with Toronto so far - how beautiful the city is, how genuine the people are. "I think I hit the jackpot coming here"

Canadian real estate prices are rising, and that’s bad news if you’re looking for cheap credit. Statistics Canada (Stat Can) reported new home prices made the first increase in nearly a year. In a research note to investors, BMO warned the increase is just one of many housing data points that shows shelter is back to driving inflation. That helps to justify the recent central bank rate hike, and potentially opens the door to further hikes.
