If its anything like my experience, you might as well just buy a new phone now. I opted for the battery replacement for my pixel 4a, and the place I took it to (one of the only places working with google to do the replacement) was super slammed because of all the pixel 4a replacements, and I'm willing to bet they didn't properly glue the battery in place as a few weeks later I dropped it on my carpet from like 4 feet high. The screen didnt crack as I'm using a screen protector and a case, but the center of the screen had a line across it that wasn't cracked glass, it was the actual LCD display damaged, right where the battery should be in the phone. I'm guess the battery was just hanging out loose in the phone, and dropping it was enough to slam the battery into the screen and damage the LCD. From there it spread purple and black dead pixels across the screen over the following 24 hours until the entire LCD was dead.
After all that hassle, new phone required anyway.
It might still be salvageable, if you can find lodgings and arrangments in the general area for the correct week (obviously with the event going on, you might not be able to find prime locations anymore) and then ask the airbnb you accidentally booked if you can get a refund, explaining what happened and how stupid you feel. It depends on if the airbnb is operated by the owner, or a business. If its the owner they might let you off the hook, understanding how much of a devastating fuck-up it is.
